Community Connections

Not everyone finds employment to be a viable or chosen option and our Community Connections division may provide a solution.

Community Connections has been developed to assist people with disabilities to become familiar with and participate in their community and to access the facilities and activities within the community.

Community Connections staff will develop a programme for the participant based on their likes, their aspirations and their ability. Staff will then coordinate and facilitate introductions to the community activities and services. 

Support is then faded as the participant gains confidence and is able to participate independently.

Activities within the community may include:

	Local activity and interest groups
	Hobby groups
	Healthy living interest groups
	Volunteering
	Life skills education
