Focus on Community Involvement

When entering the APET Community Connections Programme, you will discuss your aspirations and the activities you are interested in with one of our co-ordinators. Following that discussion a programme will be developed with you.

The degree of support that you require will be agreed and the coordinator will endeavour to identify community opportunities for you. The programme will be reviewed from time to time as your wishes and community interests expand.

Participation in the programme is free to people with a disability who receive a disability related
benefit, however they will be required to meet the costs of any community activities they access.
